1.Duc Trong’s natural conditions are favorable for the development of solar power roofs
Duc Trong is a district located in the middle of Lam Dong – the southern mountainous province of the Central Highlands with an altitude of 600 – 1000m above sea level. The district center is 26 km south of Da Lat city. Located in a traffic hub to Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh City, Buon Ma Thuoc, Phan Rang, Duc Trong has favorable conditions for expanding exchanges with the outside, strongly developing an outward-looking economy. with all 3 strengths: “Agriculture, Forestry – Industry – Service”. Promoting economic development, especially the development of agriculture in combination with services in Duc Trong, is playing an important role in the economic development of Lam Dong.
Located at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, the climate here has unique features such as low average temperature, moderate temperature, and large fluctuations of day and night. However, Duc Trong still has bold characteristics of the popular monsoon tropical climate in Vietnam such as the number of hours of sunshine, the dry season lasts from December to April of each year. In addition, this place is also the region with the highest radiation of Lam Dong province in particular and Lam Dong is also in the region with the highest radiation in Vietnam.
With favorable natural conditions for solar power exploitation, Lam Dong Power Company (Lam Dong PC) has been implementing propaganda programs to mobilize customers to use electricity economically and efficiently; towards the use of solar water heaters, grid-connected roof solar power.
2. EHCMC solar power roof in a clean agricultural farm in Duc Trong
In response to the encouragement policies of the local government, Thien Duc Phat Energy Co., Ltd. cooperated with Saigon Gia Dinh Electrical Joint Stock Company to build a solar-powered roof at the Agricultural Farm. Solar power roof at the agricultural farm Doan Ket, N Thol Ha Commune, Duc Trong District, Lam Dong Province is implemented by Saigon Gia Dinh Electrical Joint Stock Company with a capacity of up to 500MWp.
The work is of great significance to the farm itself in particular and the environment in general when clean agriculture is combined with clean electricity – solar power. It not only contributes to minimizing negative impacts on the environment, but also creates electric energy for production and farm operation.
The project uses 1120 Trina Solar 445Wp brand panels and 4 Huawei brand 3-phase 100kWp inverters. Once completed, the project is expected to generate about 900000MWp to meet the energy source for the farm and home province.
