ROOF OF KIM TIN SOLAR POWER SYSTEM FACTORY

Saigon Gia Dinh Electric Joint Stock Company is executing and installing a rooftop solar project in collaboration with Kim Tin 5 Green Energy Joint Stock Company. The installation is situated at Lots 10+12, Street No. 9, Tan Tao Industrial Park, Tan Tao Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. The installed capacity is 0.978MWp.

Currently, with the increasing demand for electricity, overloading of the power grid in industrial zones has become a significant issue in business operations.

Utilizing the rooftops of industrial buildings for solar energy generation brings many benefits to businesses and helps reduce a portion of the production costs.

With the rooftop solar project in industrial parks (Kim Tin rooftop solar project), the air inside the workshop will be cooled. This solar energy system provides electricity to support the business’s production activities. In recent years, climate change and its greenhouse effects have been a constant threat to humanity. Most industrializing nations are transitioning to suitable energy sources to address this issue.

In Vietnam, the geographical location is quite favorable for the development of wind and solar energy. Currently, following the government’s direction, there is a transition in the utilization of energy sources. This includes an increase in the proportion of renewable energy usage and a reduction in the reliance on traditional energy sources.

As a result, the development of solar energy in factories and households is experiencing a promising start. This aligns with the country’s development needs and efforts to reduce environmental pollution.
