The construction of lines and substations with capacity up to 500KV is one of the traditional business areas of Saigon Gia Dinh Electric JSC. We have experienced large-scale projects, worked with modern equipment and construction machinery, as well as overcome the items with difficulties such as rugged hills, swamps, crossing rivers and streams, etc. Up till now, the completed items have been put into operation, and guaranteed good function and quality.

Over the years, EHCMC has continuously improved the projects’ quality, and fully complied with the requirements for operation and labor safety. Commitment of timely working schedule with the investors, and full implementation of the relevant technical requirements. The structural change in the development policy of the company has affirmed its strategic vision, consistent with the requirements of international integration and economic development.
2018 is considered an important milestone in the Company’s development history, when EHCMC assumed the role of general contractor for the construction of Fujiwara Binh Dinh solar power plant project, in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, with the total capacity of 50MWP. The factory officially came into commercial operation on June 26, 2019.


Moreover, during the construction of Fujiwara plant, EHCMC continued to be the main contractor of Hong Phong 4 solar power plant project, in Hong Phong commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province. The project has the total installed capacity of 48 MWP. This is the first solar power plant in Vietnam to have solar trackers. Hong Phong 4 solar power plant officially came into commercial operation on May 31, 2019.


At the end of 2019, in Vientiane (Laos), Saigon Gia Dinh Electric JSC and Suliyapon International Trading Co., Ltd. signed an EPC contract on the construction and installation of 400MWp solar power at the agricultural complex No. 01, Nong Mark Chap Commune, Thaphabaht District, Borlikhamxay Province, land area of the Ministry of Defense (Laos).
In May 2020, the implementation of SP – Infra 1 solar power plant project was carried out in Phuoc Vinh, Phuoc Thai commune; Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province. The project has a total installed capacity of 50MWP, and is expected to be completed, officially energized, and commercially operated on August 15, 2020.
In the future, Saigon Gia Dinh Electric JSC is determined to become the leading unit in constructing power plants with capacity of over 100MWp across the nation and some neighboring countries such as Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar,… In 2019, Saigon Gia Dinh Electric JSC was awarded the certificate of “Top 10 ASEAN sustainable brands”.
