Main contractor of Hong Phong 4 Thermal Power Plant project with capacity of 48MWP in Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan Province.

Saigon Gia Dinh Electric JSC is the main contractor of Hong Phong 4 solar power project in Hong Phong Commune, Bac Binh District, Binh Thuan Province. Hong Phong 4 Solar Power Plant project with the total installed capacity of 48 MWp, was invested on an area of ​​57.6 ha, in Hong Phong commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province. 

This is one of the projects that use the modern and advanced technologies of G7 countries such as the single axis – tracking system of Ideematec (Germany). It is stable and can produce 25% higher power capacity than the fixed mounting system. Annually, the power capacity produced by the system could reach 92 million kWh.

In addition, this is also the project using the panels that have very high-efficiency up to 19.4%, with a capacity of 400w of each from Sunpower (USA), which helps to save land area, and the synchronous equipment of AC Station (Inverter + MV Transformer + RMU) of SMA (Germany) for safe and fast construction and operation as well as stable power quality in operation. The project has 22/110kV substation (2x25MVA) with synchronous equipment from ABB.

In addition, this project also uses the advanced SCADA system developed by SunPower and is applied globally with over 5 GW of solar power to support the operation management with high reliability and good performance.

As the main contractor of Hong Phong 4 solar power project, Saigon Gia Dinh Electric JSC has fulfilled the commitment of timely schedule to the investors. With only 88 working days, all managers, electrical engineers and workers have been making constant efforts to meet technical requirements in construction, which has contributed to the success of the project.

Thus, Hong Phong 4 solar power plant has been successfully energized, put into commercial operation at 3 p.m. on May 31, 2019, and connected to the national grid.
