
Fujiwara Binh Dinh Wind and Solar Power Plant Project is a 100% foreign-owned, and invested by Fujiwara Joint Stock Company, Japan. With a total capacity of 100MW, located over 60ha in Nhon Hoi economic zone.
Project investment was carried out in the second quarter of 2017. Phase 1 and phase 2 are expected to be completed in the first quarters of 2019 and 2020 respectively.
Project’s product is electricity generated from wind and solar energy. This area is particularly investment-encouraged by the government of Vietnam.
Up to now, among many domestic and foreign investors, who have come to the province for investment and interest in the fields of solar and wind power, there were 18 investors registering for projects. And 6 projects were approved by Binh Dinh province for project investment survey.
Fujiwara project, which received Japan’s second foreign investment in Binh Dinh; is the 12th project Japan invested in Binh Dinh province. Raising the total FDI from Japan to nearly 100 million USD.
In regard of the fact that the project was granted an investment registration certificate and about to be impplemented, Binh Dinh expects to receive a strong investment wave from Japan to Nhon Hoi economic zone in the coming time.
