These days, when the Covid-19 epidemic is getting complicated, the entire health system, especially the frontline hospitals have become hot spots, the images of medical staff in their protective suits have left people strong impression of their hard-working, dedication and sacrifice. A lot of pressure is surrounding the “angels in white”. It is hardly known that many frontline doctors have to endure stressful work, eating hurriedly, burning the midnight oil, and even spending uncountable sleepless nights.
In the sweltering heat of summer, the “white-shirted soldiers” at hospitals and the “comrades” in protective clothing that are on duty at the disease control posts have been busy as bees. Realizing the relentless effort of the medical staff, doctors and nurses, Sai Gon Gia Dinh Electric Joint Stock Company has supported hundreds of foldable beds for hospitals so that frontline workers can take a rest after hours of hard work.
The beds are part of the wholehearted love EHCMC team would like to donate to the medical staff in hospitals in the hope of giving strength to the frontline forces who are trying to help the city fight the epidemic. Without expecting to get any credit for the charitable work, EHCMC just hopes to encourage the medical staff, and somehow assist them in the fighting against the epidemic.
After continuous charitable activities and programs, we have been working at our full capacity to be able to help more and more people. Regardless of difficulties and hardships, what motivate and retain us in this long battle are the joy of giving, the touching eyes of the isolated people and the happiness of the medical staff.
