The small leaves create and store solar energy and can be used to power small devices and mobile devices. They thrive indoors, outdoors and can also collect the kinetic energy from the changes in temperature and wind in their surroundings.

So, how do the leaves of the solar tree work?
The leaves of the trees are actually flexible organic solar cells, and printed with well-established mass production techniques. Each leaf has a separate power converter, creating a versatile conversion system that collects energy from a variety of resources such as solar energy, wind energy and thermal energy.

The more solar panels there are, the more energy the tree can collect. The stems are 3d-printed by the use of wood-based biocomposites. They can be mass produced and replicated infinitely.
