Exchange of experiences in RE development cooperation at the Federal Republic of Germany. According to Mr. Võ Quang Lâm, EVN Deputy Director, until June 30, 2019, Vietnam’s electricity system has got nearly 4,700 MW of solar power capacity. It is expected that by December 31, 2019, in approximation, there will be an additional amount of 1,000 MW from this power source connected to the National electricity system. Thus, the scale of solar power source would be equivalent to about 10% of the total installed capacity of the entire electricity system.
The rapid development of RE resources in a very short time has been having a remarkable impact on the management and operation of EVN’s system. “EVN is actively researching and exchanging experiences in development cooperation and operations management of electricity systems of countries, among which, Germany is the leader in RE development”, said Mr. Võ Quang Lâm.
