On the site of Vietnam’s largest wind farm

Ea Nam 400 MW wind farm project in Ea Hleo district, Dak Lak province, invested and built by Trung Nam Group, is bringing to the Central Highlands clean energy. It is not only a breakthrough, but also a fulcrum for the province’s energy sustainable development in the future.
The 400 MW project worth VND 16,500 billion, with a 500 KV-450 MVA substation connected to the 500 KV Pleiku – Di Linh transmission line, after completion, will be the largest wind farm in Vietnam up to the present.

The project’s 84 wind towers are rushing for completion in October 2021.
Each tower, consisting of 6 pillars 131 m high, is installed by Trungnam SMC – a member of Trungnam Group.
Wind towers are manufactured by Enercon Company – Germany, installed by teams of experts from Germany and Vietnam.
The 500 kV line connecting the project and the national transmission system was successfully energized on August 13.

Vietnamese engineers have gradually learned technology and experience from European countries during the installation process.
The capacity of each unit is 4.2 MW per hour enough for 1 household’s power consumption in 2 years.
Simultaneously 84 wind turbines are being installed on Ea Nam field.
The equipment was transported nearly 250 km by road from Nam Van Phong port to the project by super-heavy vehicles.
